CAMPBELL, Michael Thomas "Tom" --74, passed away Saturday, December 27, 2008, in Cape Breton Regional Hospital. Born in Glace Bay on September 5, 1934, he was a son of the late Don Neil Campbell and the late Mary Catherine MacNeil. Tom is survived by his wife of 54 years, Jean; daughter, Christine (Mark) Nomura; grandchildren, Ryoko, Kimiko, Mariko and Emiko; sons, Michael, Donald and Shawn (Tracey); grandchildren, Connor and Jakob. Tom is also survived by brothers, Andrew (BettyAnn), Murdock (Cory), William (Doreen); sisters; Margaret (Mark) Westhaver, Anne (William) Jeffries and numerous nephews and nieces.
Memorial service to be held, Tuesday, December 30, at 2 p.m. in Johnstown Sacred Heart Church, Father Joe Gillis officiating. Burial at a later date. Family flowers only. Donations may be made in his memory to a charity of your choice. Funeral arrangements are under the care and direction of Dennis Haverstock Funeral Home, St. Peters.
