LeBlanc, Mary Carole Bridget … 66, Port Hawkesbury, it is with great sadness that we said goodbye on Tuesday, January 19, 2010 in St. Martha’s Regional Hospital, Antigonish, to a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. Born in North Sydney, she was a daughter of the late Herbert James and Ethel Elizabeth (Morissey) Chislet. Carole owned and operated her own hair dressing shop for many years. She was a member of St. Joseph’s Parish, Port Hawkesbury. Carole loved SAERC TV Bingo and Quilting. She is survived by loving husband of 45 years, John; daughter Marsha (Darryl) MacQuarrie, Port Hawkesbury; son Paul, Rocky Mountain House, AB.; the apple of her eye was her grandchildren Cailin and Colton MacQuarrie; sisters Judith (Simon) Sakalauskas, North Sydney; Helen (Henry) Standing, Leitches Creek; several nieces and nephews. Carole was predeceased by her son Blair. Visitation will be 2-9 p.m. Thursday, with a vigil service at 2 p.m. in Dennis Haverstock Funeral Home, Port Hawkesbury. Funeral mass will be held 10 a.m. Friday, January 22, in St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Church, Port Hawkesbury with Father Andrew Boyd officiating. Burial in the parish cemetery at a later date.
