Hendsbee, Ruby Marion - November 19th, 1929 - October 31st, 2021, Halifax formerly of Half Island Cove. Our dear Mother, saint of God, graduated to Heaven peacefully, with loving family at her side on Sunday, October 31st , 2021in Parkstone Enhanced Care, Halifax. She will surely be missed by all, especially by family. What a testimony she was for Jesus Christ. Only in Eternity will we know how many lives she had influenced for our Saviour. Born in Phillips Harbor, she was a loving and devoted daughter of the late Spurgeon and Tressie (Meeds) Hendsbee. She was a loving and supportive wife of the late, Keith Hendsbee. As a woman of faith, Ruby cherished the hours she spent with the children during her time in the bus Ministry and teaching Sunday School. She also was a gracious host. She always made sure no one left her table with an empty stomach. Wherever you would meet her, she would always stop to talk. From the time she was a young girl, she loved to visit the elderly. She loved her family and lived her life humbly. Left to mourn are daughters, Elaine (Albert) Amirault and Donna Lee (Gary) Falt; granddaughters, April (Raoul) Smith, Lindsay (Chris) Grillet and Danielle Falt. She was "Gi Gi" to four great-grandchildren. Also survived by brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Pastor Bruce and Betty Hendsbee; brother-in-law, Paul Fraser, cousins and many nieces and nephews. Besides her husband, Keith; she was predeceased by sisters-in-law, Joyce Conrad, Judith Leite, Marion Hendsbee, Joanne Hendsbee and brothers-in-law, Wayne Hendsbee and James Conrad. Also predeceased by her niece, Charlene and nephews, Bobby and Kevin.
