BOUCHIE, Norman Joseph - 97, Canso Seaside Manor formerly of Little Dover passed away Thursday December 20th 2007 at the Manor. Born December 06 1910 in Little Dover, he was the son of the late Stephen and Mary (Fougere ) Bouchie. He was a member of St. Agnes Parish Little Dover. He was a former fisherman and carpenter, and upon his retirement built model boats. He is survived by daughters Beverly Spears, Halifax, Genesta (Frank) Munroe, Lorraine(Cletus) Boudreau, Anna (Manzer) Haines, Edith (Thomas) Keefe, Sheila (Francis) Rhynold; sons Ronald (Joyce), James (Kim), David (Susan) Little Dover, Thomas (Coleen),and Brian (Melinda) Canso; sisters Edna Rhynold and Nina Munroe of Little Dover; 35 Grandchildren and many great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his wife Mary (Harnish) Bouchie, two daughters in infancy, brothers Walter, Donald, Seward and Jerome, sisters Rose and Elizabeth. Cremation has taken place. Family service will take place at a later date. Memorial donations may be made to Eastern Memorial Hospital Fund. Funeral arrangements are under the care and direction of Dennis Haverstock Funeral Home, Canso. Words of comfort may be forwarded to the family at: www.haverstocks.com
