BROW, Veronica Ann … 98, Havre Boucher, Antigonish Co., passed away peacefully Friday, February 15, 2008, in Milford Haven Home for Special Care, Guysborough. Born November, 28, 1909 in Tracadie, she was a daughter of the late William H. and Annie (Benoit) Delorey.
Veronica was a mother and homemaker and a member of St. Paul’s Parish and C.W.L., Havre Boucher, and a member of the Harbourview Senior’s Club. Veronica was a talented seamstress and artist, with many paintings of her around the world. She loved to travel and welcome people into her home.
She is survived by son Louis (Agatha), Havre Boucher, foster sons Kenneth (Marguerite) Brown, Shelburne, Billy Brown; sisters, Sister Edna Delorey CND, Montreal, Sister Mary Delorey CND, Sydney; grandsons Nick (Kim) Brow, Frankville, Troy (Carol) Brow, Cape Jack; great grandchildren Chelsea, Nikita and Daulton Brow; step-grandchildren Gerard, Cathy, Jennie; foster grandchildren Josh, Teresa, Raymond, Timmey; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Nicholas, sisters Lillian Cantwell, Louise Landry, brothers Clarence, Walter, Roland.
Visitation will be 7-9pm Monday and 2-4 and 7-9pm Tuesday at St. Paul’s Centre, Havre Boucher. Funeral mass will be 11am Wednesday in St. Paul’s Roman Catholic Church with Fr. Robert McNeil officiating. Burial in the Parish Cemetery at a later date. Memorial donations may be made to Antigonish Home Health Care, Milford Haven Home for Special Care or a charity of one’s choice.
