BENOIT, Frances Theresa – 81, Antigonish, formerly of Cape Jack, Antigonish, Co. died Sunday May, 25, 2008 in St. Martha’s Regional Hospital, Antigonish. Born in Cape Jack, she was a daughter of the late Edward and Charlotte (Brean) DeCoste. She was a fish plant worker employed at the former Acadia Fisheries Plant in Mulgrave. Theresa was a member of St. Ninian’s Parish, Antigonish and a former member of St. Paul’s Parish, Havre Boucher. She is survived by sons Kevin and Mike, both of Ontario; grandchildren Kevin, Christena, Aaron; special niece Marie Pelrine; several nieces and nephews. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family. She was predeceased by her husband Clifford, sisters Bernadette MacDonald, Sophie Curtis, Isabelle DeCoste, brothers Christopher, Francis, James. Visitation will be 2-4 and 7-9pm Tuesday and 2-4 and 7-9pm Wednesday in St. Paul’s Centre, Havre Boucher. Funeral mass will be 10am Thursday in St. Paul’s Roman Catholic Church with Fr. Bill Crispo officiating. Burial in St. Croix Parish Cemetery, Pomquet at a later date. Memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, Palliative Care Society of Antigonish Town and County or a charity of one’s choice.
