BROWN, Joyce Isabel, RN – 77, Sand Point, Guysborough, Co., died Sunday June, 29, 2008 in Milford Haven Home for Special Care, Guysborough. Born in New Glasgow, she was a daughter of the late William and Georgie (Weldon) McCallum. Joyce was a registered nurse employed by Moncton City Hospital and the Aberdeen Hospital, New Glasgow. She was a member and Past Matron of Fidelity Chapter 36 O.E.S., Riverview, N.B. and an adherent of St. James Anglican Church, Middle Melford. She is survived by daughter Carol (Doug) Halfpenny, Sand Point; sons William (Kim), Upper Coverdale, N.B., James (Vicky), Riverview, N.B., Donald (Evelyn), Stellarton; sisters Jean Holmes, River John, Helen Robertson, Stellarton, Nell Gregory, Richmond, Virginia, U.S.A.; grandchildren Nicholas, Jessica, Heidi, J.C., Kevin, Lisa; great-grandson Jacob Trites. She was predeceased by her husband Allison C. Brown and brother George. There will be no visitation. A graveside service will be held 2pm Thursday in St. James Anglican Church Cemetery with Rev. Susan Best officiating. Memorial donations may be made to St. James Building Fund, Milford Haven Home for Special Care or a charity of one’s choice.
