BROPHY, Mark William - 67, of Mulgrave, died at home on Monday, September 1, 2008. Born in Mulgrave, he was a son of Mary (Jellow) Brophy, Milford Haven Home for Special Care, Guysborough, and the late Joseph L. Brophy. Mark was a retired stevedore and a member of St. Lawrence Parish, Mulgrave, and also a member of the Royal Canadian Legion, Cambrai Branch 37, Mulgrave. Surviving are sisters, Ursula Doyle, Carol (Allison) England, both of Mulgrave; brother, Joe Brophy, Arisaig.
No visitation. Funeral mass will be held 11 a.m. Thursday in St. Lawrence Roman Catholic Church, Father Bill Crispo officiating. Burial in the parish cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to St. Lawrence Parish Cemetery Fund. Words of comfort may be forwarded to the family at: www.haverstocks.com
