BURTON, Larry Charles – Age 79, Port Hawkesbury and formerly of Auld’s Cove passed away on Sunday, December 13, 2020, in the Strait Richmond Hospital, Evanston. Born on October 24, 1941, he was a son of the late Carl and Muriel Burton. Surviving are his daughters, Laura Hibbert (Embree), Valerie (Russell); sons, Richard and Michael; siblings, Carl Jr. (Donna), Russell, Shirley (John), Billy (Patsy), Darlene (Donnie), Preston (Lori), Garfield (Kathy), Brian (Theresa), Joan (Eldred deceased); 46 nieces and nephews; 2 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. He was a beloved Papa to Tyler (Embree), Kylie Kramer (Hinkley), Jalissa Murry (Hinkley). He was predeceased by his wife of over 30 years, Janet (Ryan) Burton; grandson, Charles Embree; sister, Jean. Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life will take place in the new year, when travel restrictions have eased and family can come together. Donations may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
