SIMPSON (MacKinnon), Jenny Bell – Age 77, Blues Mills, Inverness Co., passed away on Thursday, November 5, 2020, in the Victoria County Memorial Hospital, Baddeck. Born in Rosedale, Inverness Co., she was the daughter of the late Malcolm Murdock and Eva Penny (MacKinnon) MacKinnon. Jenny loved to travel, gardening, her grandchildren and face timing and seeing baby Alexander. She enjoyed watching CNN to see what the "Dumpster" was doing. She enjoyed her trips to NB every year and always enjoyed going to the jam sessions. Surviving are her daughters, Rhonda Simpson (Pat O’Brien), Dartmouth; Juanita (Ivan) MacInnis, Skye Glen; daughter-in-law, Sheri MacDonald-Simpson, Blues Mills; sister, Elaine MacKinnon, North Bay, ON; brother, Donald (Anne Marie), Ashfield; grandchildren, Samantha (Alex) Dixon, Cassie MacInnis, Kira Simpson, Conor O’Brien, Reilly O’Brien, Zach Simpson; great-grandson, Alexander Dixon. She was predeceased by her husband, Douglas; son, Keith; sisters, Hughena Skelhorne and Freda Waters. We the family would like to thank the Palliative Care team, Dr. Ritter, Cathy MacMullin, and all the nurses at Victoria County Memorial Hospital; as well as the wonderful Continuing Care nurses that came to the house every morning. Cremation has taken place. There will be no visitation by request. A graveside service will be held at a later date in Stewartdale Cemetery when family is able to travel and attend.
