LATIMER, John Harry – Age 85, Port Hastings, Inverness Co., passed away at home on Wednesday, November 18, 2020. Born in Arichat he was a son of the late George and Mary Caroline (Boudreau) Latimer.
Surviving are his best and closest friend, Corona Boudreau; daughters, Nola White (Robert), Nora Kersten (John), Natalie MacPhail (Hugh), Noel Cattell (Brad), Caroline; sons, Phillip (Nancy), Matthew (Joanne), Warren (Jackie), Charlie, Darcy (Carolann), Lyle (Pam), Anthony, Solomon (C.J.); sisters, Christine Boudreau, Clair Hull, Emily Calder; 25 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his wife, Mabel (Carter); brothers, Gordon and Billy.
Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life will take place at a later date. Memorial donations may be made to the Port Hawkesbury Food Bank. Arrangements are under the care of Dennis Haverstock Funeral Home, Port Hawkesbury. Words of comfort may be forwarded to the family at www.haverstocks.com
