My sympathy to all, I did not know Jim knew his father and mother. I was a McChesney born in Afton, not far from where Courtney was born. My father Fred McChesney and Courtney were first cousins. Take care and remember all your happy times as a family Nettie [McChesney] Cameron

I was saddened to learn of Jim's passing when checking into The Homeland this week. Having grown up in Hadleyville and on Chedabuctou Bay, fishing with my late father, Joe Carter, the love of The Bay was a shared infatuation. I also had the pleassure of attending, with my late Father and with my brothers, many of the lake and pond-ice snowmoibile races of yester-year. While offcially I went to watch my uncle Billy Fraser race his sled, it often seemed that Jim was a more frequent front runner in his races! May Jim race on in Your memories. God bless.

I am so shocked to hear of Jim's passing. When I moved to Boylston in 1984, Jim was one of the first people to walk into the Post Office and make me feel welcome. Through the years, he spent so much time dropping in to tell me a joke or a story or some chit-chat, or to just make me laugh. He was a kind soul who will always have a place in my heart. My deepest condolences to you all.
