Very sad to learn of John's death. I have lovely memories of our summers together as kids-- exploring the woods, fishing, and digging clams with Bern, along with Ernie and Wilf Carter. We reconnected recently and John enjoyed revisiting those happy times. He loved life too much to be taken so early. Deepest sympathies to Heather, Annie, and everyone in the family.

To John's Family, John was a dear friend to me as was his Dad to my Dad. I remember many good times we had in Mulgrave. I occasionally met John in Antigonish, and when we stopped to chat the years melted away. My memories of John are vivid and I can only imagine the memories held by his family are full of joy and laughter. BTW, I loved John's distinctive laugh..RIP John, Roddie
