Very sorry to hear of the unfortunate passing of Arnold. He was a true gentleman. I met the Matheson family a long time ago at Rodney's wedding and events. Arnold would always stop at the office if he was at a wake in Sydney to see if I was around. Sorry for your loss ..

We were saddened to hear of Arnold's death. I have. Such fond memories of times spent at my grandparents (Rod & Doiiy MacKenzie) home in Malgawatch, at the Mathewson homestead in Little Narrows & Arnold's visits to our home in Dartmouth. I also recall the wonderful afternoon I spent with him and Laddie a few winters ago. Our deepest sympathy to you Laddie, Aaron and all the Mathewson clan. Laddie, I am so sad to hear of Arnold's passing. We have such good memories of spending time with you and Arnold and listening to Arnold's many stories. My daughters and granddaughter also enjoyed hearing them. I will miss his enthusiasm for life and adventure. Lorna and I had planned to visit you both in August when travel restrictions for Lorna make it possible. We will still do that. My heart goes out to you.
