We are saddened to hear about Donald passing away suddenly. We have such great memories of our many trips to MacIntyre Mountain which always included a stop to visit Donald and his mother Mae. Our mother, Rita (MacIntyre) Stewart, would reminisce with them about her days growing up there just up the road in our grandparents house. We loved to listen to them talk and catch up on the goings-on and we learned so much about our MacIntyre roots. Although we never lived there we feel a strong connection which lures us to MacIntyre Mountain and its history. We thank you so much Donald for sharing the stories with us. The last time we visited in September 2018 you came with us up MacIntyre Mountain Road to where our grandparents and mother had lived. You continued to relate anecdotes about them and the property which are memories we will cherish. We had hoped for another visit before now and had wanted to hear more about our family members from McIntyre Mountain but Covid intervened. When that next trip takes place we will dearly miss seeing you again. We wish to extend our deepest condolences to Donald's family and friends, our thoughts and prayers are with you. Wishing you peace, Marilyn Stewart & Gail Stewart
