Landry, Gary James - Sadly, we announce the passing of Gary James Landry in St. Anne Centre, Arichat on Tuesday, February 23, 2022. He was born in River Bourgeois, River Tillard actually, in 1950 and was the son of the late Lena and John B. Landry. He was predeceased by a sister in infancy. He is survived by his sister, Judy and her husband, Art Durant of Halifax. Gary didn’t need a lot of excitement in his life. For entertainment he was happy to have a car to drive to St. Peter’s in the evenings to chat with friends as they sat in each other’s cars and chatted, mostly about cars no doubt and little gossip which didn’t interest him much. He enjoyed spending Christmas with Art and Judy and various cats in Halifax. He enjoyed the Christmas baking and the crowded Christmas tree and always looked first for the "Morrisons" ornament. We extend a sincere thank you to the staff at St. Anne Centre for being so kind to Gary and for keeping him so comfortable in his last days. There will be no funeral service. Prayers are welcome.
