Albar, Gary Michael – Age 56 of Port Hawkesbury. A loving husband and father, Gary passed away peacefully on Friday, May 14, 2021 in QEll HSC, Infirmary Site, Halifax with his wife, Hershel and daughters, Abby and Eira by his side. He now joins his father, Mike and his closet brother, Gilbert as they rest in Heaven. Gary was born on February 25, 1965 in Davao City, Philippines, he was a son of Lydia (Tanghal) Albar and the late Fiscal Mike Albar. Gary was raised in Roxas City, Capiz, he took great pride in his heritage as he is closely related to a former president of the Philippines, Manuel Acuna Roxas. Just like his Dad, he dedicated his life to helping those in need. He continued the work of his father as he helped the oppressed and indigents who couldn’t afford to pay legal fees. He was a man of honor and many things, was intrigued at the tiniest details which made him such an interesting person. Gary could hold a long conversation about anything which made him such a comfort person to all. His family and friends valued him so much. He will be sorely missed. Words of comfort may be forwarded to the family at: www.haverstocks.com
